Welcome to March Madness! The plan was to post a bunch of interesting and fun facts related to the seeds and various and sundry trends here, but ESPN has already done a terrific job there, and we have a full time job. Read that post, enjoy the First Four tonight, and keep a close watch on the Never Been Kissed – those schools who have never made the Sweet Sixteen in the years since the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament first expanded to 64 teams in 1985. There are 29 such school in this year’s field of 68, with Nebraska (has not won an NCAA tournament GAME in 130 seasons of basketball) the strongest NBK contender since Houston was on the rise.
